Key Responsibilities
A Mason is responsible for interpreting construction drawings, preparing mortar, laying bricks and concrete blocks, repairing damaged structures, and ensuring that all masonry work meets project specifications. Daily duties include measuring and aligning materials, mixing cement, finishing surfaces, maintaining work quality, and following instructions from supervisors. The role also involves coordinating with Scaffolders to ensure safe access to elevated work areas and working alongside Helpers who assist with material handling, tool preparation, and maintaining clean work environments. Every task must be completed while following workplace safety regulations, maintaining productivity, and supporting the successful completion of construction activities within the required project timeline.
